Privacy Policy for the RideVIP Website and Mobile App

Introduction

RideVIP (“we,” “our” and/or “us”) recognizes the importance of personal privacy to those who use our services. We want you to understand how we gather, use, and safeguard your information. This policy explains our privacy practices for information that we collect, use and share from RideVIP Users (collectively “Users”), and the network of independent operators that we utilize to arrange all our services.

Information We Collect

Registration Information 
We collect information on you in order to set up an account. This may include your name, address, email, phone number(s), login name, and password.

User Profile information
You may provide us with additional information about your preferences such as your preferred vehicle.

Payment information
When you add a credit card or payment method to your account, a third party that handles payments for us will receive your card information. To keep your financial data secure, we do not store full credit card information on our servers.

Chauffeur Information
For Chauffeurs, we may also collect payment or banking information, vehicle information, licensing and permitting, government identification numbers, photo, insurance information, and driving records. We may share this information with a third party that will run a driving record check but only with your permission.

Device Information
RideVIP receives information from your device when you use our websites or mobile applications this may include IP address, web browser type, mobile operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, and push notification tokens.

Location Information – Mobile Apps 
If you are a Chauffeur, we collect location information about the real-time location of the vehicle before or during a trip both when the app is open and on the screen and open but not on the screen of your device.

Usage Information
RideVIP may collect information about how you interact with our services. This may include access dates and times, pages viewed, app crashes, or type of browser. Our websites do use cookies and are there as a convenience to you for page preferences and remember me functions. These cookies are exclusively internal to RideVIP and are not shared with any external business partners or 3rd Parties.

How Long We Store Your Personal Data

Credit card information is stored for two years past the expiration date of the credit card.

Personal data is stored as long as your account is active or RideVIP has a need for the information to provide services to you.

Chauffeur information such as a copy of driver’s license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration are kept for 1 year past the expiration date (or until a new copy is supplied to us).

How We Use Your Information

Only authorized RideVIP personnel is allowed secure access to your personal data for reservation processing. Your personal data is used in the creation, changing, or canceling of a reservation so RideVIP knows it is you requesting one of our ride services.

Chauffeur information such as cell phone numbers and vehicle information is shared, upon request, with passengers for the purpose of connecting with the chauffeur during the execution of the service.

Who We Share Your Information with External to RideVIP

Third-party operators either provide RideVIP ride services and/or RideVIP provides services. This includes information passed to your driver for the purpose of providing you with the service requested.

Payment processors for the purpose of collecting for services provided by RideVIP to you.

RideVIP uses a third-party provider to assist us in providing RideVIP marketing materials to our customers. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

All information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer Technology.

Editing and Deleting Your Information

You can review and edit certain sections of your personal information from the RideVIP Client Website or RideVIP App under the My Profile section.

If you require your information to be deleted you may contact us at info@ridevip.com and request your information be deleted. We will delete or anonymize the information unless we require it to:

1. Collect outstanding balances
2. Assist with any legal investigations
3. Prevent fraud
4. Resolve any outstanding disputes
5. Require it for Tax purposes

Credit Card Processing
RideVIP complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI”) by scheduling quarterly PCI scans of our system and a once-a-year full PCI Audit conducted by a third-party vendor specializing in PCI compliance.

Minors
RideVIP does not knowingly collect information from minors 13 years of age and younger. If RideVIP becomes aware of the collection of information from a minor we will take steps to delete that information from our system.

California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of our services who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what Personal Data (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. Under Section 1798.83, California residents are entitled to request and obtain such information, by emailing a request to info@ridevip.com or calling us at (888) 459-0999:

Changes to our policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated policy will be available on the RideVIP websites and apps. If the policy updates are extensive we will post notice of changes via the websites or apps for a period of 90 calendar days after the update is published.

As long as you continue to use RideVIP you are agreeing to this policy and any updates.
